Last Updated: April 2024. These terms govern the relationship between you and the Binds platform.

By using the Binds platform, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions, which govern the relationship between you and the platform regarding the use of the application and the services provided through it. The platform acts as an electronic intermediary connecting clients (service requesters) with service providers (individuals or businesses). These terms are subject to the laws and regulations of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including e-commerce and personal data protection laws.

Escrow Account: A secure technical account where project funds are held until service completion according to agreed terms.

2Article 2: Overview

Binds is an electronic platform that connects authorized service providers with clients, allowing clients to request available services through the application. All uses of the platform are subject to these terms and conditions, which are construed in accordance with Saudi Arabian regulations.

The platform is exclusively a technical intermediary; this agreement does not create an employment contract, hiring relationship, or legal partnership between the platform and service providers (individuals or companies).

Service contracts are established directly between the Client and Service Provider. The platform's responsibility is limited to providing technical tools and securing financial transactions.

5Article 5: Financial Obligations and Taxes

  • Clients must pay the full project amount upon accepting an offer; funds are held in the platform's escrow account.
  • Payments are released to the provider based on approved milestones between both parties.
  • VAT: Tax-registered service providers are solely responsible for issuing tax invoices to clients, collecting VAT, and remitting it. The platform bears no tax liabilities for these transactions.
  • The platform deducts an administrative commission from project values for operating the platform and technical mediation.

6Article 6: Intellectual Property and Confidentiality

Ownership of all work deliverables (designs, software, reports) transfers to the client upon final payment, unless agreed otherwise in writing. Service providers must maintain complete confidentiality of client data. All intellectual property, trademarks, logos, and platform materials remain the exclusive property of Binds.

7Article 7: Dispute Resolution and Arbitration

In case of disputes, parties must attempt amicable settlement via the platform's Dispute Center. If unresolved, this agreement is subject to Saudi Arabian law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Al-Madinah Al-Munawwarah.

8Article 8: Personal Data Protection

All user data is governed by the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). Users consent to data processing for identity verification and service enhancement, with data securely stored inside Saudi Arabia.
